My sweet boy...today begins your last month as a one year old. I can hardly believe your second birthday is quickly approaching. You are growing so fast and I find myself wishing the days would go by a little slower. I am so thankful that you still do many things today that you did as a tiny newborn. You still twist your chubby fingers through my hair when you are tired or need comforting, just as you did as a precious baby. And even though now you tug at my hair a little harder than I like sometimes, I can't imagine cuddling with you without your fingers entwined in my hair. When you are sleepy, your mouth still forms a perfect pout, just like when you were tiny and new. And as you fall asleep, you still look just as you did that first night in the hospital when I laid in that dimly lit room and stared at you for hours, breathing in every inch of your perfectness. So as you continue to grow, I am so grateful for these little things that remind me of my days with you as a precious, beautiful baby. Thank you for filling my days with smiles and happiness. You are my joy and I love you, love you, love you...every sweet little bit of you.

He is growing up fast. I ask him Do you want G-Ma to help? I usually get NO. He has to try it by himself first. So independent.
I love you
G-MA
