Just Like the Old Days

Today I had the pleasure of a little alone time while the boys hung out next door with Mema, PaPa and Keen Keen.  I can't remember when they last spent time over there without me, so it was a special time for just the five of them.  I can remember when Sam was little and I was working from home and he would spend hours next door for me to work.  I would often look out our kitchen window and see him running down Mema's driveway with one of his beloved "friends" chasing behind him.  Today I found myself looking out my window again, catching glimpses of both my boys running and laughing as their three adoring "friends" watched.  And while Jack may never have all the time with them that Sam did, I am grateful for every minute they spend with those three special people.  Today was spent helping put up pickles, working in the yard, eating too much and requiring a bath as soon as they got home...just like the old days.  And I am so thankful.

These moments are so special. I love the pictures. I would like to have a couple. My boys always need either a bath or stitches(from a hospital visit) when they stayed with them.
