Every year we try to get a good group shot of Nana and JP with their grandkids.
And every year it gets a little harder.
This year was no exception.
After dozens of attempts, we only had two shots to choose from.
This is as good as it's gonna get, folks.
A few of our many outtakes...
Jack doing his best Alice Cooper impression.
No photo session is complete without an appearance from Popeye.
Cannon giving me a subtle hint that Will may need a diaper change.
Jack throwing a silent "Wass-up?" to his Daddy.
I said, "Maybe I should try another angle."
Cade heard, "Who can look like an angel?"
And a little more Popeye.
Sam always gets distracted when Jack breaks out his gansta face.
We haven't told anyone yet, but we think Jack may have narcolepsy.
Jack singing a little Pavarotti.
Jack showing off his mad tongue-rolling skills.
Okay, who got the sand in Cade's eyes?
I sure hope Cannon's face doesn't stick like that.
Landry loosing her focus and muttering something about "amateurs".
Just in case you didn't know it, Cannon does a spot on gorilla impression.
Saucy breaking out her Sugar Ray Leonard impression.
And Sam doing his famous "very happy Muhammad Ali" bit.
That's it Sam, Cannon and Cade. That's just the smile I was looking for.
Oh, no, Jack, that smile doesn't show too much teeth.
Landry whispering to JP, "Enough with these rookies. What you say we ditch these losers and head out for ice cream?"
And, yes, I do realize that my child is the star of this outtake reel.
I wouldn't expect anything less.
