Tonight we enjoyed a special night, a night that has become a yearly tradition that we look forward to each Christmas...the Barbour party. The Barbour party has been going on for decades and celebrates Jody's grandmother, Marie's family. There were nine Barbour siblings and six are still alive. They happily come together with all of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to celebrate family and the season. We love going every year and Sam and Jack have grown to love it too.
The boys love the delicious food and desserts...
Sam did the cake walk with Mema...
Jack spent a lot of time playing under the tables...
and jumping in Boo's lap...
And then the big moment! Santa arrives and the boys catch a glimpse of him...
Jack refused to go see Santa without Daddy, but Sam surprised us by walking up to Santa to get his gift...
He even went back to see Santa again and show him his new gun...
Sam was so proud of himself and kept saying, "Mama, I'm so brave!" Jack kept asking for more "Merry Christmas," his code word for Santa and he desperately wanted him to return. We had a wonderful time and feel so blessed to be part of such a wonderful family.

I loved the look on Jack's face when he saw Santa. It was so much fun.
