Lost and Found

I had no luck finding Sam's bear as I cut grass this morning.   I was so disappointed.  This afternoon, while Jack napped, I was folding laundry and putting clothes away in Sam's room.  Sam called out to me, "Mama, where you are?"  He joined me in his room and I enjoyed a little small talk with him as I put away clothes.  I opened Sam's closet to hang up a shirt and heard a sweet, little gasp.  "Mommy, Mommy, look! My bear! My bear!"  And there he was.  Tucked in a side pocket of Sam's book bag.  I open that closet several times every day and never noticed the treasure tucked away in plain sight.  I squealed with delight as the grin on Sam's face grew bigger and bigger.  We giggled and squealed together, both overjoyed that that special bear had been found.  I think I may have been more thrilled than he was.
Is there anything better than seeing your child overflowing with pure, perfect happiness?  That's what finding that little brown bear did for my buddy today.  Happiness.  Perfect happiness.

WOW I am so glad. Is there a way to purchase a spare bear and scuff it up to look like this special treasure?
