How we spent our week at the beach...
overcoming fears, discovering the ocean in all its wonder, running and bouncing in the waves...
staying up late, skipping naps, digging in the sand for beautiful shells to take home to a few special people...
eating blueberry muffins, creating mountains of laundry, letting the small grains run through our fingers while playing in the world's largest sandbox...
taking numerous baths each day, pulling out Landry's bow dozens of times, using markers for the first time to color, our hands, that is...
playing games, creating masterpieces with crayons and stickers, visiting a small, local zoo where someone ignored the rules (kind of like at home)...
eating popsicles, applying sunscreen, reading, making endless trips to the ocean to fill up our buckets...
falling down steps, getting mosquito bites, eating seafood, building wet sandcastles with our very best bud...
opening and shutting the gate hundreds of times, laughing, learning how to make shapes in the sand...
discovering bunk beds which Sam sweetly called "bumpy beds," sticking close to Daddy and enjoying every moment with him...
getting a little too much sun, locating crocs and flip flops, fighting over the water hose, relaxing, belly down, on the warm beach...
and enjoying every minute together. Thank you Mama and Daddy, Nana and JP, for treating us to such a wonderful week.
