Feet

We're only a few days into April and my little ones already have the grungiest, dirtiest-looking little feet.  I can't imagine what these busy feet will look like come July and August.  Scuffed up toes, jagged toenails and dirt that refuses to come off, no matter how hard you scrub.  It doesn't help that the boys are usually barefoot and if they decide to slip on shoes it is usually crocs or flip-flops.  So every night I scrub and scrub and shake my head when I see the stubborn dirt underneath their toenails hasn't budged and the stains on the bottoms of their feet appear a little darker every day.  But, oh, how I love those little, dirty feet.  Sweet, stained little feet, evidence of a day full of play and adventures, a day full of doing what we do best...making memories.
