Easter

Our boys had a wonderful Easter.  We celebrated Granny's 80th birthday last night with all the Paschals and the kids enjoyed playing together and having an egg hunt.  It's always nice to have all the cousins together...Riley, Cannon and Sam were all born in a five week span and Riley just welcomed a sweet little brother, Caleb, to the bunch of boys.  Sam won the egg hunt, which for some reason really surprised me.  He didn't run or rush to grab the eggs so I didn't think he was gathering many...proof that slow and steady wins the race.  He was pumped over winning a prize, but a little more excited over the candy inside the eggs.  They all were.

Nana and the boys scoping out the eggs before the hunt begins...
Some waited patiently for their cue to start...
Some didn't.
Riley is so sweet and happy...
Double checking. Cannon making sure he didn't miss any eggs...
The official 2009 Egg Hunt Champion.
Loving the rewards...
The only girl in the egg hunt...
She had a real knack for grabbing an egg, popping it open with her mouth and getting the candy out really, really fast.
The Easter bunny left Sam a new bear and some books and Jack was thrilled over his "big truck" from Mr. Bunny. The boys and I headed to church this morning. Sam refused to stay in children's church even though Ally and Corey were teaching and insisted on sitting with me in church.  So he did and he did very well.  He didn't make a sound.  Jack, on the other hand, made himself right at home in children's church, wandering from child to child, checking everyone out.  These two boys are so different.  They certainly keep me guessing...and scratching my head in amazement.
Mr. Social Butterfly in his seersucker suit...so handsome.
