Cannon and Jack

Cannon has a special place in my heart.  Always has, always will.  We are middle children and I understand him.  The middle child plays a special role in a family.  And Cannon plays it perfectly.  He is loving and sweet and the entertainer in the family. He makes us all laugh, all the time.  Yes, he is the one that keeps the mood light and forces up all to keep things in perspective.  He big and rough and clumsy.  He is beautiful and cuddly and loving.  And he has the most precious heart.  His personality often overshadows his sweetness.  But I see through that smile.  He is the one who may surprise us all by being the most tender-hearted.   He may prove to be the boy whose worst punishment would be to hear his Mom or Dad say, "Cannon, I am disappointed in you." Yes, he is special beyond words and I smile because I think I have my own little Cannon.  Jack. Funny and cuddly, I see so much of Cannon in Jack.  It must be that second born gene.  Jack walks around dancing, laughing and trying to make everyone else laugh too.  He is a ham and we all sit back anxiously anticipating what he will do next.  He is full of life and though he wears me out most days, he is a bright spot in my day...all day.  I've told Allyson for months that I may have my Cannon in Jack.  And I think it's true.  I can't tell yet how tenderhearted he will be but I know he loves making us all smile and laugh, just like Cannon.  He's big and boisterous and loud, just like Cannon.  And he's cuddly and soft and sweet, just like Cannon.  And I'll gladly take that. 

Cannon and Jack...both second borns...both the life of the party.  I think these two may end up being the best of friends.
